We are looking for an experienced Application/System Support Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in helping us to deliver successful products. This role can be based either in our Milton Keynes office or our Research and Development Offices in Magor (South Wales).   Your role will assist the Director of IT and IT Manager, effectively supporting all users, maintaining a solid infrastructure by providing applications and systems for the global environment.

Responsibilities of role

  • Assist the Director of IT and IT Manager in maintaining and supporting company ERP/EDI systems in relation to Great Plains and Trading Partners.
  • Assist IT Director with infrastructure management and maintenance.
  • Conduct needs analysis studies, scheduling, training,
  • Develop and manage inbound and outbound transactions, daily reconciliation/troubleshooting of all transaction sets, set-up new EDI communications and maintain existing EDI communications, and code back-end systems.
  • Monitor and document EDI processes, and participate in process improvements by providing innovative ideas to increase customer service, enhance accuracy, and elevate productivity.
  • Provide effective service locally and to the entire organization, supporting all users and platforms.
  • Conduct system audits of relevant technologies and applications.
  • Recommend information technology strategies, by identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Ensure all processes and relevant information is documented and kept up to date.
  • Communicate updates and issues on a regular basis to direct supervisor
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
  • Assist Director IT to ensure current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.

Qualifications and relevant skills and experience required

  • Bachelor’s degree, specializing in Information Technology, or relevant experience
  • Good understanding of underlying financial principals and ERP processes as well as the technical knowledge to help maintain the system
  • SQL Server Reports Service (SSRS) and Management Reporter
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Excellent familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft GP), including relevant technologies such as SQL, VSYNC, In-Touch, and Imagine
  • A good understanding of EDI and it’s workflow to and from trading partner.
  • Experience of VSYNC would be beneficial
  • Experience in SharePoint 2013 O365
  • Experience in configuring computer systems multi-site network and server management.
  • Effective working knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft O365
  • Experience with LANs & WAN management and optimization
  • Ability to work flexibly including some weekends and nights, when necessary
  • Ability to make use of web tools and on-line industry resources

Position Description

The eCommerce Manager will develop, manage and execute initiatives to drive increased eCommerce sales, ensuring that the Mad Catz online store delivers a great shopping experience for our customers while aligning with marketing and sales cross-channel strategies.  With a strategic focus on eCommerce sales growth through customer acquisition, conversion and retention, the eCommerce Manager will work closely with Mad Catz Marketing, Creative Services and Web Development teams to spearhead inbound and outbound campaigns to optimize traffic volume, purchase conversion and revenue growth metrics. In addition, the eCommerce Manager will coordinate with Mad Catz Sales teams to ensure alignment of content and promotions across our key online retailer partners.

Responsibilities

  • Grow eCommerce sales and customer conversion through site content, purchase path, sales performance and shopping cart analytics and optimization. Utilize site analytics and financial reporting analysis to develop cross-sell/up-sell merchandising and promotional strategies for all product categories.
  • Create eCommerce Performance Dashboard and custom reports as required to analyze performance metrics and identify trends in order to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and manage Mad Catz product portfolio across the Mad Catz and retail partner online storefronts – managing and maintain product listings, pricing models and web assets including marketing and promotional content.
  • Monitor and communicate with all search portals and shopping engine sites to ensure that Mad Catz company and product information, images and content are up-to-date.
  • Increase customer acquisition, retention and reactivation through inbound and outbound marketing channels – while identifying opportunities to cross-promote online store sales through offline marketing activities.
  • Develop and coordinate promotional calendar in-line with territory sales and online retail partner initiatives.
  • Plan, manage and execute affiliate program, working with publishing partners and directly with affiliates to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Work closely with Web Development team and eCommerce Software provider to problem solve and continuously improve the customer’s eCommerce experience.
  • Identify and pursue new relationships and sales/ecommerce opportunities.
  • Coordinate online store related activities with Marketing, Sales and Distribution Center to ensure optimum customer relations and customer service.
  • Be a team player and pitch in where needed.

Desired Skills & Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience with emphasis in eCommerce
  • 3-5 years of eCommerce experience and thorough understanding of online retailing
  • Experience in database management, reporting, analytics and optimization techniques

Mac Developer in Magor (South Wales)

We are looking for an experienced Mac Developer to join our team and play a crucial role in delivering successful products. Based in our Research and Development Offices in Magor (South Wales) you will be responsible for developing Mac OS drivers and User Iinterfaces, software plugins and development test tools for our cutting edge consumer products.

Responsibilities

  1. To design cost effective consumer products that meet our exacting technical and quality requirements.
  2. To be an active and effective member of a multi-disciplinary team, developing high and low level software, including a hands-on role in system specification and design, testing, and release.
  3. To ensure the timely delivery of fully documented working prototypes, assist in the development and support of system SDK’s, etc. as required, which satisfy the technical and marketing specifications.
  4. To provide full documentation of all software and control of software releases.
  5. To assist in the design and development of software and game plugin code to support Mad Catz products running on Windows, Mac, iOS, Android, Linux and Gaming Consoles.
  6. To ensure close liaison with the Software, Firmware, Electronics and Mechanical teams
  7. Technical investigation and promotion of product concepts utilising new technologies particularly those that will/may reduce cost or improve quality in current products
  8. Initial development of prototype systems
  9. Ensure high design quality and maintainability through good practice, peer review, clear documentation, testing and thorough verification
  10. Integration with Software/Electrical/Electronic/Firmware systems.
  11. Develop and test product development and testing software tools.
  12. Monitor and effectively communicate project status, business issues and any significant developments to senior management team
  13. Manage consultants, technical contacts and mentor software team in Asia
  14. Monitoring, support and compliance with internal/external hardware and software standards
