Last weekend saw relative ‘eSports newbies’ Gfinity smash it out the Olympic Park with their G3 event. Featuring an array of favourite casters, hosts and guest analysts including YouTube favourites Ali-A and KSI and a prize pot totalling $145k, it was an experience not to be missed.

Following on from the success of their previous two events, G3 aimed to be bigger and better attracting top teams from around the globe including eSports favourites Optic, Envy, Epsilon, Dignitas and Fnatic.

Mad Catz are established partners of Gfinity and were duly represented at the event on and offline. In turn, our long term allys in the UK – Xtreme Gaming worked tirelessly over the weekend to promote the new Tritton Xbox One headsets,Mad Catz FFB wheel and M.O.J.O. Android console on their booth.
We even managed to lure Ali-A and KSI to the stand on Sunday for a 1 V 1 Street Fighter Grudge

Gfinity from their inception have established themselves as one of the number one Call Of Duty community favourites, so taking what they know and extending into popular PC titles CS:GO and Starcraft II mean that they can comfortably boast an online viewership in excess of 8m and are well on the way to establishing themselves as a global force within the eSports events arena and a great vision for UK eSports and beyond.
