On Tuesday, August 20, Mad Catz took over Balloni Halle in Cologne, Germany, for Mad Catz Unveiled, the ultimate pre-Gamescom event! Over 400 fans, media, professional gamers, and industry elite came out to see the latest in gaming software, including upcoming games like Total War: Rome II and Saints Row IV, and gaming hardware, like the Mad Catz F.R.E.Q.4D and M.O.J.O. Micro-Console for Android!

One of the many highlights had gaming media from around the globe in rapt attention, as we unveiled the Mad Catz Force Feedback Racing Wheel for Xbox One for the first time anywhere!

Along with games and hardware, professional gamers were in the spotlight at Mad Catz Unveiled, with the grand finals of the Mad Catz Invitational Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Tournament, which saw VeryGames defeat Fnatic to take the trophy. We also saw professional speedrunner Robert “Sunblade” Brandl break the Guinness World Record for fastest completion of Resident Evil 4, clocking in at an astounding 1 hour, 31 minutes, and 29 seconds!

For those that couldn’t make it out to Cologne, both events were streamed live on Mad Catz TV and Twitch, with over 70,000 viewers checking out the action!

The Mad Catz team of professional gamers were out in full force as well, with #6 European Ranked League of Legends players Team ALTERNATE on hand, plus fighting game superstars Ryan Hart and 2013 EVOLUTION World Champion Xian battling attendees right and left in casual play!

We would like to say thank you to all of our partners that helped make this event possible, including CK-99, ViviTouch, BenQ, Hauppauge!, and Cat-Sound.
