Hey everyone! My name is Femi Adeboye, AKA F-Word. I’ve been playing fighting games since I was about 9 years old when I got Super Street Fighter II Turbo and a SNES for Christmas. I branched out and continued to play fighting casually with friends in numerous arcades across London throughout my teens.

I spent a long time using the arcades as one of my escapes from the real world. Along with football and song writing, this was yet another escape from the universe and all of the stresses in life. I loved it! And then Boom! 2009 came along and Street Fighter IV was released. This game, though a lot more linear than traditionally preferred fighting games, really increased the popularity surrounding fighting games. Before I knew it there was a load of new players coming to the arcades.

I was scouted by a number of teams following some strong showings. My ever so cringe worthy YouTube channel had also earned me a positive reputation for commentating. I’ve been with two teams prior to this and honestly this is the best move I could have ever made. I joined Western Wolves in early 2012 and the rest is history. I have now commentated and placed in tournaments across the globe representing them!
