Our friends at Vector Unit have just released a new update for Riptide GP2 that allows you and a friend to play together locally. The M.O.J.O. and an extra C.T.R.L.R are all you need to start playing big on your TV. Riptide GP2’s multiplayer update shows that mobile gaming is maturing. No longer confined to a 4-5 inch LCDs with touch controls that cover half the screen, Vector Unit is showing what’s possible when you design your game outside the box.

Those who have played Wave Race 64 or Jet Moto for the PlayStation will feel right at home.

There are three key ingredients in making a good jet skiing game.

1. Stunning water graphics and physics.
2. The sensation that you are going very fast but still in control.
3. Crazy stunts!

Riptide GP2 excels in all these departments. It also improves on the formula by giving players the ability to customize their hydro jets. By spending XP and cash, you can upgrade the look and performance of your hydro jet so you can have an edge over the competition. Toss in local multiplayer to that mix and you can pretty much guarantee you and your friends are going to have a good time!
