Day One of World Game Cup in Cannes, France saw some great games in King of Fighters XIII and SOULCALIBUR V, but the highlight was certainly the finals of Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition ver. 2012.

Both practice casuals and stages had been happening throughout the day, with teams from all over the world, but what we saw in the finals can only be described as a crushing. Western Wolves and Mad Catz’ Ryan “Prodigal Son” Hart, known both for his experience and skill and as an all round world class player, took to the stage. Nerves pushed aside and with teammates close by (including Western Wolves and Mad Catz’ Femi “F-Word” Adeboye), Ryan took to the fights with a take no prisoners mentality. Each fight was merciless, no playing around, strictly business! He single handedly took apart the French SSFIV:AE team one-by-one to win the final!
